Good Looks write kindhearted and cathartic rock songs about preserverance through hard times. Lived Here For Awhile, the new record out June 7th on Keeled Scales, is a meditation on the nature of Home and how we find, define and move through our selves in our relationships to each other. This record, hot on the heels of the band’s critically acclaimed 2022 record Bummer Year, a generous and biting take on post-2016 frustration.

Bummer Year, in hindsight, feels eerily prophetic, as the band was faced with multiple life changing tragedies after the record dropped: minutes after their record release show, lead guitarist Jack Ames was struck by a speeding motorist and sent to the ICU with a factured skull and tailbone, and a year later the band got into a car accident that totalled their tour van and destroyed all their gear and merch. Yet the band, in keeping with their musical message, has recovered, living in spite of .
